(Almost) Sunrise in Jökulsárlón

The lagoon was too gorgeous for us not to make a another stop at it, in a different light. Overnight, new icebergs had broken off and drifted towards the sea, and some were deposited on the beach.

There was a sense of melancholy to see the icebergs dwindle and melt away, for they had been in existence for centuries if not millennia…

  1. Do you think climate change has something to do with the melting glaciers you experienced? If so — I’d take as many images as you can!
