The wonders of Heydalur did not stop with the Aurora sighting. This cute little girl fox made our stay that little bit more special.
Unlike the typical “white morph” Arctic foxes, she is a “blue morph” Arctic fox, which means that her coat stays grey throughout the year, rather than changing into a white one for winter.
The morning before our departure, she had managed to sneak into our room and had a good nose around! Think that she might have been thirsty.
Also, she loved our sandals!
