  1. Oh, I love these pictures! And they make me totally happy! All that colour, intricate patterns and shapes. Just perfect! I have bought a lot of alpines myself and many of these are succulents. The way they grow and multiply is slow and yet so comforting.

      1. It’s interesting, but I have bought lots, as I said, but they were in the Alpines section. Because of that I planted mine in a container with a layer of gravel at the bottom and then in a mixture of 3 parts John Innes compost no 2 to 1 part Horticultural grit. They don’t like being wet so need good drainage. I hope I have not put you off….
