Sandstone Stacks

Northmavine in Shetland Mainland is quite an amazing place. Igneous as well as sandstone make up the rugged coastal landscape.
This was taken over a small stretch of red sand beach just before reaching Eshaness from the South.

When the setting Sun hits the stacks just at the right angle, they look rather magnificent!
